Welcome to Round Rock Elementary / Jr. High School
Round Rock K-8 School is located in Northeastern Arizona on the Navajo Reservation right off of Arizona State Highway 191. There are mountains to the east and sandstone cliffs and buttes all around. It is part of a small community with a local chapter house and a historic trading post. The Chapter House is used by the local people to do planning and making major decisions regarding the community. Issues and concerns are also addressed at the chapter house, including education or school concerns. The historic trading post no longer functions.
The school is fairly new and recently built although small. There is one class of each grade and students are transported by school buses daily. Students from other nearby communities are also enrolled at Round Rock School. Round Rock is one of three campuses under Red Mesa Unified School District #27.
